Amakhosi Safari Lodge Temporary Closure

Amakhosi Safari Lodge in KwaZulu Natal will close from May 27 until July 29 2013.

“The decision was taken due to the fact that, this past season the highest rainfall in many years was recorded in our area, flooding the Mkuze River, and making crossing during game drives at times difficult,” according to a statement by the hotel.

The hotel said it would construct a larger bridge so that guests’ game experiences were not compromised in the future. It will also refurbish its kitchen and conduct some land clearing during this period.
