Conservation Contribution for all lodges in Sabi Sand Reserve

New Sabi Sand directive, issued as at 02.12.2015 by Sabi Sand Game Lodges:

Effective 1st January 2016, a Sabi Sand Conservation Contribution (CC) will become payable (in addition to Sabi Sand Gate Fees which are settled by clients directly upon entry) by each guest.

The amount of R100.00 per person per night excluding VAT will be added to quotes and confirmations at time of quoting/booking.

The Conservation Contribution will only apply to new bookings confirmed from 1st January 2016. Confirmed Reservations as at 1st January 2016 will not be affected.

This contribution has been implemented by the Sabi Sand Game Reserve to assist in supporting the escalating costs of protecting the rhino and other endangered animal species within the reserve.

Funding will be allocated towards the following activities:

• Ground forces
• Upgraded fences
• Updated gate controls
• Technology and surveillance
• Flying reaction capabilities
• Investigation and prosecution capabilities

Kindly note that any current provisional reservations confirmed after the 1st January 2016 will attract this additional fees.
