Erinvale Estate Hotel and Spa Refurbishment

Communique from Erinvale Management:

It is with great pleasure that we officially announce that the Erinvale Estate Hotel & Spa will be undergoing an extensive renovation to its rooms and conference centre this winter season. Natural evolution has preserved the rich heritage of this property which has gradually transformed from its origins as a portion of the Cape Governor’s estate, circa 1700, into a contemporary lifestyle hotel.

All hotel rooms (57) will be renovated in phases thus making rooms available at all times. Rooms have been carefully selected so that guests are not inconvenienced by the renovations. The renovation period will be from 23 May to 30 September 2016.

Phase 1: Garden Rooms – 19 rooms from May to July

Phase 2: Old Stables – 24 rooms from June to August

Phase 3: Courtyard Rooms – 14 rooms from August to September

The beautifully upgraded rooms will provide guests with serene interiors, embellished with custom designed furnishings and works of art. Each room will be individually styled with modern indulgences providing guests with an atmosphere where they feel at home.

The Conference Centre (Camphor Ballroom) will be closed for renovations during the winter school holidays; from late June to mid-July 2016. During this time the hotel’s two smaller venues, Oak and Birch, accommodating a maximum of 30 and 40 people respectively will be available.

The transformed ballroom will have additional French doors leading onto a terrace under the ancient Camphor trees; providing additional natural light into the venue. The natural serenity of the estate will flow through the new luxurious venue with contemporary designer furniture and fittings. Erinvale Estate Hotel and Spa will offer a unique meeting experience for executives looking for respite from the humdrum of the office by offering internationally designed venues which are equipped with the latest technology; aiding organisers to have effective meetings in an inspiring setting.
