Function room renovations at Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel

Renovations of the ballroom at the Mount Nelson , which include the fitting of a lift, have begun. This project should be finished by the end of August 2015.

There is no scaffolding or any signs of refurbishment on the exterior of the building, but there is some projected drilling.

Guests will be allocated to rooms away from the Ballroom as much as possible should there be any noise. The work will be taking place during working hours, from 08h00 – 17h00, and may take place on weekends too, if required.

The public areas will not be affected in anyway so the guest’s stay will be as usual.
