Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge – Opening Postponed

Communique from Michelle Hollis – Isibindi Africa Lodges:

“Due to factors totally beyond our control we have had to postpone the opening of Rhino Ridge until 1 March 2015. The Metal Workers Strike last year caused huge delays with the construction of the roof and then the black outs in October & November created havoc with many of the building suppliers and the contractors were just not able to meet the deadlines.

We were hoping to open on 10 Feb but felt that this would really be pushing it and we would hate guests to be disappointed so we have decided to delay the opening until 1 March so as to ensure our guests have a superb experience.

All guests whose bookings have been affected by the delay have been offered alternative upgraded accommodation at other safari lodges (at Isibindi’s cost) or the choice of a full refund.

Isibindi Africa Lodges has not taken this decision lightly and are fully aware of the inconvenience and distress it will cause not only our operators, agents and clients for which we are sincerely apologetic. However, we believe that the end product will most definitely be worth the wait.”
