Skukuza Airport to Re-open 1st November 2013

This has been spoken about for several years however we are pleased to officially confirm that South African National Parks are to re-open Skukuza Airport to commercial air traffic from 1st November 2013. Please see below the official time frame. The significance for the area and specifically Tinga and Lion Sands is that we are likely to see either SA Airlink or SA Express operating the route allowing for greater capacity and therefore affordability including the ability to ticket all the way through to our Lodges.

The Tender shall take place in accordance with the timetable set out in this Article 18. SANParks reserves the right to modify the timetable at any time. SANParks shall not incur any liability whatsoever in exercising any rights in this Article 18 or otherwise granted in this RFP or available under the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
