Urgent Federal Air Changes
Please note that FEDERAL AIR has a few changes:
To reach the following lodges, Skukuza Airport has to be used:
- Lion Sands Sabi Sands
- Lion Sands Kruger National Park
- Rhino Post Safari Lodge
- Nottens Camp
- Jock Safari Lodge
- Kirkman’s Camp
1) With immediate effect until 31.05.2014 ONLY the early Johannesburg Departure and the early Lodge departure will take place, as follows:
Early Flight OR Tambo – Sabi Sand Lodge / Singita Lebombo / Northern Sabi Sands / Timbavati, depart 10h30, arrive 12h00
| Check in for this flight will be open from 07:00; o Pax must be checked in at the Federal Air Kiosk latest 10:10 to connect onto this flight; o Pax must be checked in at the Federal Air Departure lounge latest by 10:20 to connect onto this flight o Departure and arrival times may vary up to one hour. This is done to accommodate guests on connecting flights. o NOTE: 41 available seats equal up to 5 x light aircraft departures tailored to lodges booked.

Early Flight Sabi Sand Lodge / Singita Lebombo / Northern Sabi Sands / Timbavati – OR Tambo, depart 11h00, arrive 12h30

The afternoon flight (from Johannesburg 12h30 and from Lodge 12h30) will fall away for above lodges.
As from 01.06.2014 there will be no more flights from Johannesburg to Skukuza or Skukuza to Johannesburg. In this case, clients will have to use the new airlink flight to/from Skukuza Airport.
All other lodges will still offer the same schedule, so morning and afternoon flights in and out.
2) ALL SINGITA FLIGHTS (Sabi Sands and Kruger Park) will get DEDICATED Federal Air Flights. So, the Singita Federal Air Flights will be unlimited, BUT the rate will also be higher.

3) Important Info: as Federal Air allocated the seats one day prior and sometimes a couple of aircrafts can be used (like for example 2 x 5 seater), it can happen that a family is split up in these different aircraft.
All changes apply to new bookings made from today (17/01/2014).
