Westcliff Closure

Orient-Express Hotels Ltd. sold The Westcliff, Johannesburg, in December 2012 to a joint venture partnership between Albwardy Investment and Hotels Properties Limited. At that time, Orient-Express agreed to stay on as managers of The Westcliff for a period of up to 12 months whilst the owners developed their plans for a substantial investment and renovation project.

Orient-Express Hotels Ltd. has been advised that The Westcliff will close for an extensive refurbishment on 30th June 2013 and the management of The Westcliff will transition to the owners on that date.

Ilanga is in the process of amending all current bookings for the period during closure, and the expected duration of closure is 9 months – updates will follow.
